Senior Payment Platform Application Manager – Banking and Financial Services

Senior Payment Platform Application Manager working for a globally recognized financial services client. Responsible for managing and optimizing payment processing systems to meet high standards of security, efficiency and compliance. Duties include overseeing operation and maintenance of critical payment applications, incident and change management, system integration (APIs, message queues, clearing systems such as TIPS and RT1), troubleshooting and performance tuning, coordinating cross-functional teams, enforcing security protocols (fraud prevention, sanctions screening), and driving automation and DevOps practices. Requires 5+ years in payment processing or banking IT, strong knowledge of SEPA SCT/SDD, SEPA Instant Payments and T2, Unix/Linux and Windows Server proficiency, hands-on experience with Oracle, SQL Server or PostgreSQL (PL/SQL), REST/SOAP web services and middleware, and knowledge of core banking systems.
